BMW i4
The first purely electric Gran Coupé will take driving pleasure to new limits thanks to a range of up to 585 kilometres (WLTP)*. The four-door vehicle combines extraordinary performance with superb range to create a driving experience perfect for long-distance and everyday journeys. There are three distinct i4 flavours. The first two are single-motor rear-drive. With the eDrive35 offering 281 horsepower and 260 miles of EPA range. Kia EV6
A fraternal twin to the Hyundai Ioniq 5—and a winner of our 10 Best Trucks and SUVs award—the 2023 Kia EV6 charts its path through the E.V. market with athletic road manners and a bold look all its own. The Kia EV6 is a battery-electric compact crossover SUV produced by Kia. Introduced in March 2021, it is the first Kia dedicated electric vehicle and the first model developed on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
It is also the first model to be named under the new nomenclature designated for a line of Kia electric cars, which will range from EV1 to EV9. The EV6 is the 2022 European Car of the Year. Like the exterior, the interior of this car is also very modern and loaded with futuristic features like an Automatic defog system, which is very safe in bad weather. It’s a large, pure-electric hatchback SUV with polarising styling, tons of useful tech, and an excellent attitude, similar to the Ioniq 5 from Hyundai.
Hyundai Ioniq 6
Hyundai aims to compete with the Tesla Model 3 with its latest E.V. model, the Ioniq 6. This four-door fits into the company’s Ioniq subbrand, is made of electric vehicles and shares components with the taller and boxier Ioniq 5. Single- and dual-motor configurations will be offer, with two battery-pack options.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a battery-electric mid-size fastback sedan produce by Hyundai Motor Company. It is the second vehicle marketed under the electric car-focuse Ioniq sub-brand and the fourth model develope on the Hyundai Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The vehicle was first sold in South Korea in late 2022, with deliveries expected in the United States beginning in March 2023.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is an all-electric saloon that follows the success of the Ioniq 5 SUV as the South Korean firm’s second bespoke electric vehicle. The electric sedan will have the same 77.4 kWh battery but an improved range and efficiency. The EPA estimated range at 361 miles on its base S.E. rear-drive model and only 14 kWh used per 62 miles. Hyundai sold 756 Ioniq 5s in 2022 and more than 1,000 in total. But says it aims to bring in around 3,000 Ioniq 5s and Ioniq 6s in 2023 before ramping that number up to around 6,000 in 2024. That will include the Ioniq 5N, a new high-performance version of the popular E.V.
Ford F-150 Lightning
Turn the volume up on the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning’s audio system, and you may miss that this pickup truck is power by electricity. With the tunes pounding, you wouldn’t notice the absence of the gasoline engine’s sound. But floor the accelerator, and you’ll know that the Lightning is not your standard gasoline-power F-150. The electric motor’s instant, massive torque slams you into the seat as if you got run into from behind by a Peterbilt. Otherwise, the Lightning delivers almost everything the regular F-150 does in a package close to a mirror image. Inside and out, the Lightning looks like other F-150s—though it’s different underneath.
All models come with two electric motors juiced by either of two battery packs. But the Lighting’s full-size truck credentials come into question when you want to tow due to modest limits and a severely restricted range. The first improvement is the additional range from the standard capacity battery. Two thousand twenty-three models now come standard with 240 miles, an increase of 10 miles from last year.
